Our long-standing Corporate Tax department is actively recruiting an ambitious and dynamic Senior Manager to become part of our expanding team. Situated in the heart of Cheltenham, our central office boasts a renowned reputation, earned through serving a wide-ranging and diverse clientele.
Some of our exciting projects you would be involved in:
Disposals of Businesses to EOTs (Employee Ownership Trusts):
- Assisting businesses in transferring ownership to their employees through EOTs.
Capital Reduction Demergers:
- Structuring demergers that involve capital reduction, allowing companies to separate their business units.
Sale and Leaseback Transactions:
- Advising on transactions where a company sells an asset (such as property) and then leases it back from the buyer.
Structure Reports for New Private Equity-Backed Platforms:
- Providing comprehensive reports and guidance for setting up private equity-backed ventures.
Tax Advisory Services for Sale and Buy Sides:
- Offering expert tax advice to clients involved in both selling and purchasing businesses.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage employee share incentive advisory projects in conjunction with partners or directors
- Be able to draft and/or review advisory reports and/or tax valuation reports as required
- Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and professional advisers
- Provide tax technical support to other teams and build a strong internal network.
