Our long-standing Corporate Tax department is actively recruiting an ambitious and dynamic Senior Manager to become part of our expanding team. Situated in the heart of Cheltenham, our central office boasts a renowned reputation, earned through serving a wide-ranging and diverse clientele.
Some of our exciting projects you would be involved in:
Designing Bespoke Share Incentives:
- Create customised share incentive schemes tailored to the specific needs and goals of the organisation and its employees.
Tax Valuations of Shares with Complex Ratchet Structures:
- Evaluate the value of shares that have intricate ratchet mechanisms, considering factors such as performance-based adjustments and dilution effects.
EMI (Enterprise Management Incentive) Valuations:
- Assess the value of shares granted under EMI schemes, which offer tax advantages to employees.
ERS (Employee Shareholder Rights) Sections in Due Diligence Reports:
- Provide insights into employee shareholder rights during due diligence processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Tax Valuations for Share Disposals to EOTs (Employee Ownership Trusts):
- Determine the appropriate value of shares being sold to EOTs, considering tax implications and employee ownership structures.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage employee share incentive advisory projects in conjunction with partners or directors
- Be able to draft and/or review advisory reports and/or tax valuation reports as required
- Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and professional advisers
- Provide tax technical support to other teams and build a strong internal network.
