Description

Hazlewoods Corporate Finance team provides specialist advice to small and mid-market businesses on a wide range of transactions including business acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, business valuations and raising finance for expansion.

With record-breaking results in 2024, after advising on transactions worth more than £1 billion, the team is now looking to expand its lead advisory team. Assignments are generally sale mandates, along with buy side retainers, management buy outs and finance raising.

The role will involve:

  • Managing the day-to-day interactions on lead advisory assignments with a typical transaction value of up to £30 million.
  • Helping to manage sales mandates from initial engagement to completion, including (partner-led) negotiations and client relationship management.
  • Attending business development meetings, approaching potential buyers, and developing firm’s offering to new target markets.
  • Preparing and reviewing Business valuations and Information Memoranda.
  • Financial modelling for the purposes of raising finance.

We are looking for a dynamic and driven finance professional (accountancy qualification desired but not a pre-requisite) with proven experience in M&A activities who can work as part of a fast-moving and ambitious team.

With offices in Cheltenham, Bristol, and Cardiff there is the opportunity to work in any office with time required with the wider team in Cheltenham.
