At Hazlewoods, our Indirect Tax team is experiencing significant growth, creating opportunities for experienced VAT professionals who enjoy solving complex problems and delivering practical, commercially focused advice.
Working with a diverse client base across a wide range of industry sectors, you'll be involved in a variety of advisory projects, helping businesses navigate increasingly complex VAT issues while building long-term client relationships. The team works across a broad range of sectors and client types, providing exposure to varied, technically challenging work.
The Role
As a Senior Manager, you'll play a key role in the continued growth of the team, working closely with clients and colleagues across the firm to deliver high-quality VAT advice.
Your work will include:
- Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of clients
- Delivering practical VAT advice on a wide range of technical and commercial issues
- Leading complex advisory projects across a variety of sectors
- Supporting VAT due diligence assignments and transaction-related work
- Managing the successful delivery of client work, ensuring a commercial and pragmatic approach
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider tax and advisory teams
- Supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to the growth of the service line
About You
We're interested in speaking with individuals who:
- Are CTA qualified and/or have strong technical VAT expertise
- Have experience managing client relationships and delivering advisory work
- Enjoy solving complex technical problems and providing practical solutions
- Have broad VAT experience across a range of sectors
- Have experience of VAT due diligence work
- Communicate clearly and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Are commercially aware and focused on delivering excellent client outcomes
