We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Audit Manager to join our growing team, with opportunities based in Cheltenham . This is a fantastic chance to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio and play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and advisory services.
Role and Responsibilities will include:
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring excellence across audit, accounts, tax, and advisory services throughout the year.
- Lead audit teams through planning, fieldwork, and completion phases, including statutory financial reporting and client presentations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day queries and conducting on-site visits.
- Collaborate with our Corporate Finance team on specialist projects such as acquisitions, business disposals, raising finance, and preparing business plans and projections.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Proven experience in:
- Systems controls testing
- Substantive and analytical review techniques
- Group audits, consolidations, statutory accounts, and disclosures
- Using paperless electronic audit files
- Strong working knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards
- Well-developed supervisory and leadership skills
