Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join one of our prestigious sector specialist teams. Hazlewoods pharmacy team is a small, friendly team of nine people based in beautiful offices in central Cheltenham. This is a varied role offering exposure to everything from statutory accounts and VAT to audits, management accounts, and advisory projects and could someone from an Audit background who is looking for a broader role.
The role will involve:
- Managing your own portfolio of accounts clients
- Preparing statutory accounts, tax computations, and management accounts (Xero)
- Supporting audits for larger client groups
- Reviewing VAT returns and liaising with our tax team
- Getting involved in financial due diligence and benchmarking.
- Coaching junior team members and supporting their development
The successful candidate will be:
- ACA or ACCA qualified or nearly qualified
- Ideally experienced in accounts and audit
- Have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a proactive, flexible approach.
