Are you passionate about agriculture, rural business, and client-focused accountancy and advisory work? We’re expanding our Farms & Estates team and looking for talented professionals to join us in delivering expert guidance to farmers, landowners, and agribusinesses across the UK.

 

Based in beautiful rural Gloucestershire, our team of 4 partners and 45 professionals works with a diverse client base, including: agricultural enterprises, rural estates and landowners, food production and agribusinesses, equestrian businesses.

Role and Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for a mixed portfolio, overseeing the preparation, and completion of annual accounts and business tax computations.
  • Providing advice on annual remuneration planning and profit forecasts.
  • Advising on capital taxes and review of VAT returns.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value, both in respect of tax planning and broader commercial objectives.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team. 
  • Representing the company at various client events.

 

Requirements: 

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience in the agricultural and rural business sector. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills .
  • Adept at developing client relationships.
  • Sound working knowledge of Excel, Xero and Sage.
