Our Indirect Taxes team is experiencing significant growth with abundant work. The demand for expertise from our clients is unprecedented and our work spans the broadest range of industry sectors. Our team is rapidly gaining a reputation for being leaders in complex and contentious matters and we are now seeking a Director who will contribute to this growth.
The position can be based at any of our offices in Cheltenham, Bristol or Cardiff with hybrid working and is a superb opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic individual to help drive the team forward.

The right person will
- Lead and nurture strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, providing authoratitive guidance on complex VAT dispites and contentious matters
- Act as the primary af isor on high-stakes VAT controversy cases, including HMRC enquiries, litigation support, dispute resolution
- Drive the delivery of sophisticated, technically robust VAT solutions, ensuring advice is commercially grounded and aligned with clients broader business objectives.
The successful candidate will be:
- CTA qualified with exceptional technical ability
- Strategic and innovative, able to shape approaches to disputes and technical issues
- Strong negotiator, commercially sharp and client focussed, confident leading enquiries
- Experienced in managing a sophisticated client portfolio and delivering high-quality outcomes.
