Our specialist team supports a client base that extends far beyond traditional farming, working predominantly with landed estates, heritage property owners, rural landowners, and long‑established family trusts. We are now seeking a Tax Associate Director/Director to play a key leadership role within this growing area of the firm.
- Manage a portfolio of private clients, including partnerships, trusts, and high net worth individuals
- Lead advisory projects and deliver complex tax planning for estates, landowners, and rural wealth structures - including capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and succession planning
- Act as a senior role model within the tax team, mentoring and developing colleagues while promoting a high‑performance culture
- Work closely with the Accounts team to provide integrated and commercially focused client service
- Strengthen existing client relationships and identify new opportunities to grow the service line
- Provide strategic tax advice to rural businesses, property owners, and family groups
- Support partners in delivering technical, high‑value advisory work across capital taxes, trusts, and multigenerational planning
What We’re Looking For
- ACA/ACCA or ATT, and CTA qualified
- Strong experience in private client, estates, or rural sector taxation
- Leadership capability, with well‑developed coaching and people development skills
- Commercially astute, client‑focused, and confident building trusted relationships
- Interest in capital taxes, trusts, and succession planning
- STEP qualification beneficial but not essential
