Description

Hazlewoods is proud to be one of the largest independent accountancy and advisory firms in the South West with over 600 employees across our offices in Cheltenham, Bristol and Cardiff.

Our specialist Veterinary team is looking to appoint a management accounts assistant to help the team in producing VAT returns and management accounts for a variety of clients within the sector.

This role offers a variety of interesting tasks including;

  • Preparation of management accounts for a portfolio of clients,
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Assisting with bookkeeping queries
  • Ad-hoc projects for the Directors and Partners. 

This is a super opportunity to join our highly successful and friendly team, based at our prestigious offices based in central Cheltenham.  

The successful candidate will have management accounts and VAT return preparation experience, together with good knowledge of Xero, Sage and Excel.

While it's not essential, ideally you will have experience in an accountancy practice or a group of companies managing various client portfolios simultaneously. This is a fast-paced role, so the ability to multi-task and work efficiently is crucial.
